Tantalizing: teasing
Story goes
There was a Greek king called Tantalus. He was mean and was sent to hell. there he found his spot was in a lake with shallow water with a tree laden with fruits over his head. The king was pleased and thought its a great deal. However as soon as he was thirsty and bent down to drink water, the water level declined. When he was hungry he would reach out to the fruits and they would be always just out of his reach. This teasing was called tantalizing after the King Tantalus.
